5. The Settings

Satellite 5 Series one saw Nine transport us in the TARDIS to a score of different, never-before-seen settings. There was a perfect balance between the past, present and future. There were bright colours and brave new worlds. We were given unique ideas of what it would be like to live and work on Satellite Five, or what it would be like when the world ends. Series one gave us a true feeling of exploring these places through the eyes of Rose - because she was so normal, so relatable, we could truly put ourselves in her shoes and feel the wonder that she would feel. As the Doctor would put it, the places we visited in series one was a little like visiting France - €œYou€™ve got to throw yourself in. Eat the food, use the wrong verbs, get charged double and end up kissing complete strangers!€
