10. He Makes Any Article Of Clothing Cool

Prior to watching Doctor Who, you probably didn't think much of Fezzes. They were just quaint, funny little hats that soldiers used to wear. Or bow ties too, for that matter. They were just alternatives to ties that eccentric Englishmen would wear. And then, the Doctor and his impeccable sense of style came along. All of a sudden, bow ties became a hot new commodity. Fezzes were in style. Stetsons were too hot to handle. These examples prove that it's not necessarily what the Doctor wears, it's how much he believes in what he's wearing. Despite the urgings of Amy to the contrary, he still insists on rocking the bow tie. Because bow ties are cool. Past Doctors have made scarves, hats, leather jackets and Converses stylish once again.
