Doctor Who: 10 Storylines That Should've Been A Spin Off

2. The Daughter

The Doctor's daughter is actually the Doctor's wife. Well, in real life, at least. It's all very wobbly wobbly but technically speaking, Jenny was actually taken from a sample of the Doctor's DNA which meant that, as much as some fans continue to dispute the fact, she really is his biological daughter after all. Their time together was cut short before it had truly began, though, when she took a bullet that had been aimed at her father. What the Doctor doesn't know, however, is that she actually came back to life at the end of the same episode and proceeded to steal a spaceship to embark on her own extra terrestrial escapades. She's definitely her father's daughter in that regard. Sadly, that was to be the last time viewers ever saw Jenny. There is still so much to explore with her, though, and the possibilities are pretty much endless. The new and old foes she could meet, the reappearance of the Doctor in his twelfth incarnation, and even the chance of seeing her regenerate, too. Well, wishful thinking never goes amiss, right?
