Doctor Who: 10 Storylines That Should've Been A Spin Off

3. Midlife Metacrisis

Rose Tyler's exit was one of the saddest moments in Doctor Who history and, to make matters even worse, fans had to go through it twice. The second time everybody's favourite shop girl turned Earth Defender departed, though, she managed to snag up a Doctor of her very own, one which had human aspects including the ability to age normally without regenerating. It gave the Doctor and Rose the happy ending they rightfully deserved as they finally gave us the kiss the nation had been waiting for. But what happened next? Well... exactly. They've subsequently never been mentioned again, despite the fact - albeit it in a deleted scene - the Tenth Doctor gave his counterpart a piece of coral to grow into a TARDIS of their very own. As such, there's always the chance of a spin off series featuring Rose and her human Doctor. It would basically be like watching Series 2 (without, you'll no doubt be thrilled to hear, having to contend with the likes of Love & Monsters and Fear Her) whilst exploring the perimeters of their parallel universe. Besides, who doesn't want to watch David Tennant and Billie Piper making loads of babies? It really is the stuff fan fiction is made of.
