Doctor Who: 10 Storylines That Should've Been A Spin Off

6. The Ponds

Oh, Amy and Rory. As devastating as their departure was, they ended up living happily ever after when they were zapped back in time at the hands of the 'last' Weeping Angel in the mid-Series 7 finale, The Angels Take Manhattan. Amy even managed to write the Melody Malone book that turned out to be so vitally important to the plot, so why can't there be more from them? OK, so it wouldn't be from the Doctor's perspective, since he's made it pretty clear that he can never go back to them (although that still doesn't make a whole lot of sense). Seeing it from Amy and Rory's perspectives would still be interesting, though. Watching their journey through the many decades before they were even born, seeing their final days together... A spin off exploring their life together would be a nice little treat for their legion of dedicated devotees. It would be like Pond Life but actually worthwhile. Sounds good, no?
