Doctor Who: 10 Things That WON'T Happen In The Christmas Special

3. It Won't Make Any Sense

Let's be honest, are there any episodes of Doctor Who that do? Its Christmas Specials are particularly notorious for their outlandish plots so it's always important that you remember to take them in the seasonal spirit in which they were intended. Admittedly that's sometimes easier said than done, like, for example, the time the Queen of England and her corgis were forced to evacuate Buckingham Palace when a spaceship replica of the Titanic plummeted towards Earth(???)... It's Christmas, though, so let bygones be bygones, yeah? Of course an episode set in the North Pole in which the Doctor comes face to face with Santa Claus is incomprehensibly bonkers but isn't that when Doctor Who is at its best? Don't forget that the majority of the audience will be passed out in front of their TV by the time Doctor Who airs on Christmas Day anyway so it's got to be weird and wonderful enough to appeal to all demographics - however drunk and disorderly some of them might be.
