3. "Off With His Head!"
Way back in the Series 3 episode The Shakespeare Code, Queen Elizabeth attempted to behead both the Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones, with the former not knowing what he had done in order to upset Her Majesty in the first place. That's life as a time traveller for you, but jump forward to 50th anniversary special The Day of the Doctor and he - and us - were finally given answer. The Tenth Doctor, under the impression that he was speaking to a Zygon, offered to marry Queen Elizabeth. Since she so readily accepted not only the proposal, but the explanation of who he was, he assumed she was a Zygon impostor. After much hilarity ensues, with the Queen explaining that she really was the Queen when the proposal took place, Elizabeth and the Doctor tied the knot in a small ceremony, after which he immediately ran off and most likely didn't return until earlier in his timeline, but later in hers. Leaving the woman you married just after the ceremony and never returning is bound to make her at least slightly irritated!
