Doctor Who: 10 Things You Never Realised About Series 6 Of NuWho

Tantalising trivia about the Eleventh Doctor's second series.

Series 6 of Doctor Who was the second season for Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor. As Series 5 ended with a bang (literally), and the universe was saved... once again by the Doctor, Series 6 seemed ripe to open up new storylines, and to continue with the cracks in the universe first shown in the Series 5 premiere episode The Eleventh Hour. Series 6 itself opens with an almighty bombshell as the Doctor is seemingly killed by a mysterious figure in a spacesuit from 1969. As it would be difficult to continue a show without the title's namesake, a younger version of the Doctor continues the adventures to find out exactly who it was that killed his older self. Confused yet? You will be. The discovery of who it was causes many revelations that caught most fans by surprise, and many scenes brought out feelings in even the most manly of viewers. This series was one that not only answered questions, but brought up many more along the way. It also caused many viewers to shudder when they hear the word "Silence" and be sure to check your arms for tally marks, in case you forgot that you saw them! During this series run, there are many things that slipped past the fans, and as such here are 10 things that you never realised about Series 6 of NuWho. Silence will fall...
