Have you met Miss Jones? The Tenth Doctor first encountered her at the start of Series 3 but it wasn't until 6 episodes later that she triumphantly joined the coveted ranks as one of his prestigious companions. Technically speaking, anyway. Their initial arrangement of "just one trip" soon escalated into many more (because none of us saw that one coming...) which meant that she was "just a passenger" (her words, not ours!) for the first half of her debut series. That all changed in 42, though, after our time travelling heroes well and truly felt the heat - and then some - aboard the doomed S.S. Pentallian and the Doctor rewarded Martha for her courageous efforts by finally granting her with exclusive, and highly deserved, co-resident rights by presenting her with her very own TARDIS key. And all she had to do was fall head over heels in love with him in the space of half a series, be the most faithful friend he's ever had and, oh yeah, save his life a couple of times. Seriously. He's practically giving them away. On the topic of keys...
