Doctor Who: 10 Worst Episodes Of NuWho (So Far)

2. Midnight (Series 4)

BBC There are 'not very good' episodes and 'utterly boring' episodes within the Whoniverse but then there are disgracefully annoying episodes such as this one. Series 4 contained what can only be described as the most hated and irritating Doctor Who episode of all time in which the story was bad, the threat was basically none existent and the dialogue was loathed to the point of nobody being able to even watch the episode anymore. If there is a viewer that enjoys this episode, somebody must ask them 'why?'. Why is the episode so annoying? Because the dialogue is repeated, over and over again. So, without an physical alien threat and the lack of original dialogue, this really isn't worth the watch nor the recognition as a worthwhile Doctor Who episode. To have honestly made this episode that tad more interesting is to have thought about having an alien threat that the audience got to gradually see, like a similar approach to Series 8's Listen (which was a fantastically creepy episode). Also, the repetitive dialogue could have been reduced as this is the most annoying aspect of it.
