Doctor Who: 10 Worst Episodes Of NuWho (So Far)

1. In The Forest Of The Night (Series 8)

BBC, In The Forest Of The Night This is by far the worst episode to date. Series 8 caused quite the divide when it first broadcast but it's safe to say that this episode isn't worth anyone's time. In an nutshell it consisted of the world being taken over by the extensive growth of trees and forest life and the Doctor doesn't have much a presence like he usually does in this one. The main reason as to why it's possibly the worst episode ever is because it doesn't have much of a threat - there isn't an extraterrestrial entity and the purpose/plot isn't as appealing as the episodes before it. To have made this episode better there should have been at least some sort of relevance to the last two episodes with more of an understanding and raising suspenseful questions for the audience about what was coming next. An alien threat would've helped, too. This is Doctor Who after all. Do you agree with this list? What are your worst episodes of NuWho so far? Let us know in the comments section below.
