9. Don't Worry, Santa Is Still Real
Steven Moffat promised that Last Christmas wouldn't debunk the age old myth of Santa Claus and, as it turns out, he was telling the truth. This time, at least. It was all a dream, after all, and the inclusion of Father Christmas and his elves was nothing more than the characters' subconcious creating a saviour which complemented their North Pole surroundings. It's all so Doctor Who, isn't it? This does mean, however, that Santa Claus could still be out there after all so he's basically just as real as he was before the episode aired. But that's a discussion for another day. Old Saint Nick was portrayed effortlessly by Nick Frost, though with a name like that, how could he have possibly failed? Add Nathan McMullen and Dan Starkey in tow as his whimsical elves (sorry - that's racist!) Wolf and Ian, they really were a dream team, if you'll excuse the pun.
