Doctor Who: 20 Things You Didn't Know About The Tenth Doctor

4. He's In The Top Four Most-Watched NuWho Episodes

The most-watched episode of Doctor Who ever is the fourth episode of the Fourth Doctor serial City of Death.

However, since that episode was broadcast while workers at rival channel ITV were on strike, there's a bit of an asterisk there.

Where there isn't an asterisk is with the Tenth Doctor's viewing figures - they're bloody insane, no caveats. In fact, the four most-watched episodes of NuWho (to date) all star the Tenth Doctor.

The 2007 and 2008 Christmas specials Voyage of the Damned and The Next Doctor are in first and second place, while The Day of the Doctor and The End of Time: Part Two round out the list.

The fifth most-watched episode of NuWho is an Eleventh Doctor exclusive, the 2010 festive special A Christmas Carol.

The least-viewed of Tennant's top four (The End of Time: Part Two) still had an audience of 12.27 million, which tells you something about how popular Ten was.

He was practically part of people's families, although hopefully not in a weird stalker way.
