Bruno Langley played the much-hated temporary companion Adam Mitchell, appearing in two back-to-back episodes: Dalek, and The Long Game.

Away from Doctor Who, he is most famous for his long-term role in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street, where he portrayed Todd Grimshaw from 2001 to 2017.

After that though, Langley's acting career came to an end, in a controversial manner. In November 2017, he appeared in court and pleaded guilty to two sexual assault charges, and as a result, he was immediately axed from Corrie.

Currently, Langley produces music, and it's not clear if he'll ever return to acting in a high-profile, professional way.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
