Doctor Who: 5 Reasons Why River Song Deserves A Spin-Off

2. River Song As The Doctor's Wife (Quite Literally, Not The Episode)

River Eleven

After trying and apparently succeeding (to the Universe, at least) to kill the Doctor, and marrying him in a collapsed time line, the imprisoned River Song we now know, have extra night-time adventures with her husband (not excluding some *wink *wink one-on-one time, if we know River) -- as the Doctor himself, quite mysteriously, refers to (by strongly and unsubtly lying about it to Amy) as his and River's "sneaking around" time. It would be cool to know the River/Eleven stories which are why she seems to know more about the Doctor than anybody else (so far). The husband and wife off to save the Universe, or more of just the Doctor's wife off to explore the universe to go and find her husband as much as can. This might not be a very easily achievable feat, as this would actually mean a lot of Doctor appearances and not just an independent River show. But the chaos and potential of these post-marital adventures of these two alone would make for an awesome movie already. All their adventures told through River's eyes would make fans swoon, smile, laugh, and inevitably cry, all knowing how it (most probably) will end -- not discounting another "Moffaaatt!" reverse plotting moment.
