Doctor Who: 5 Reasons Why The Eighth Doctor Has More To Give

3. The Interesting (Half-Human) One

The Doctor has been described as many things in his time - the grumpy one, the wild eyed one, the great haired one, to name but a few! - but the Eighth Doctor has always been the most interesting incarnation. Perhaps that's largely down to the mystery that surrounds him because, in a sense, there's not really that much to know about him. What fans did learn about him during the TV movie, however, has kept them talking to this very day. Most notably he revealed he was half human and while it's a revelation that has since been seemingly rectified in the revived series, it's still an intriguing one nonetheless. Maybe he was just confused in his post-regenerative state. What's more, there has always been something about this Doctor that no one can quite put their finger one, which does make watching him quite unsettling at times. Despite his short but sweet tenure on the screen, the Eighth Doctor is one that has been particularly significant for the character and the show and so far it feels like fans have only seen the tip of the iceberg.
