Doctor Who: 5 Reasons Why The Eighth Doctor Has More To Give

1. Doctor No More

At what should've been the end of his life, the Doctor was given a second chance and gave up his coveted title in order to become the War Doctor ahead of his turbulent trials in the Time War. It was an incredibly brave act as he was basically giving up everything he had ever stood for to become a destructive warrior but his motives for doing this have generally been left unexplored. Fans were given a general idea but there's definitely cause for a full spin off series explaining how he got to the position of making such a drastic change to his personna. An online petition calling for a live action series featuring the Eighth Doctor has already reached 20,000 signatures so there's definitely a thirst for the adventures which led him to the fateful events of The Night of the Doctor. Or any sort of adventures, really. Quite frankly, most of us would watch him read the phonebook. What do you think of this list? Do you think the Eighth Doctor deserves more screen time?
