Doctor Who: 5 Surefire Ways To Push The Doctor's Buttons

2. Interrupt Him Being Brilliant (Or Trying To Be Brilliant)

The Doctor does not understand how you cannot keep up with his conclusions and why oh why you keep asking him questions to which the answers are so completely obvious. The Third Doctor's catchphrase may as well have been €œNot now, Jo,€ and as for the Sixth Doctor? Well, he thought he was beyond superior to everyone. Even when it comes to himself, he wishes his younger selves would quit talking and let him get on with it. In The Day of the Doctor, for example, the Tenth Doctor tells the War Doctor to "try and keep up" when the two of them and the Eleventh try to land at the Tower of London. Other Doctor meet-ups contain similar bickering - especially since they all want to be the most brilliant man in the room. Most importantly? Do not interrupt the Doctor when he's trying formulate his plans. In his current self, that will earn you a firm €œShut up!€
