2. There's A Wealth Of British Female Actors

One things most would agree on is that Doctor Who is a British show and that whomever is cast as the next Doctor, should be from the United Kingdom.

And luckily, if the BBC decide that the next Doctor is to be cast as a woman, there are plenty of fantastic UK female actors to choose from to cast.

Current names that have been floated for a female Doctor include Tilda Swinton, Olivia Colman, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Hayley Atwell, all of whom have great track records and would be great possibilities for the role.

Obviously, Doctor Who almost never casts based on fan rumours, so it might be worth looking to those possible names not being pressed as hard who would still be solid, including the likes of Vick McClure, Alexandra Roach, and Cara Theobold.
