Doctor Who 60th Anniversary: Predicting Chances Of Every Doctor Returning
5. The Tenth Doctor (David Tennant)
From one of the least likely returns, to the most likely.
Even before the announcement of RTD's comeback, it was a safe bet to make that David Tennant would be game for the 60th. Not only is the Tenth Doctor still heavily involved with the Doctor Who universe - audio dramas, video games, comics - but he's the most famous and beloved NuWho Doctor, almost making him this beacon of joy that fans can rally around after the divisive nature of the Chibnall era.
But after the announcement of RTD's return? It's not just a safe bet anymore. It's a borderline guarantee.
With the BBC reaching deep into its pockets to bring back the creative team that made NuWho a national phenomenon (a move that could be viewed as a "break glass in case of emergency" response to the show's dwindling ratings and split fanbase), it just makes sense that they'd want to reunite the entire dream team.
We won't say it's definitely going to happen, but again, it's a borderline guarantee.
Chances: 9/10.
