johnny depp doctor who Oh, good Lord, where to even begin with this one? Rumours circulated not too long ago that Potter director David Yates was attached to yet another attempt at an American revival film of Doctor Who (even though this time, unlike 1996, it wasn't even close to dead to begin with) and this guy up here was chosen to play the titular Time Lord. Okay, first off, like I said, another American revival? Do the terms "Paul McGann" and "Miracle Day" come to mind? Try me for treason, if you will, but I'm an American and even I acknowledge we had no business getting into Torchwood whatsoever. Another case in point with American intervention... Johnny Depp! Brilliant, charismatic and talented actor, but would fans in the show's homeland accept even Johnny Depp as the first very American Doctor? Even if it's... well let's face it, Johnny Depp? BUT... Just imagine the two Captain Jacks facing off... and by facing off, I mean flirting shamelessly. Finally Jack Harkness can flirt with the Doctor and can die happy... in several billion years. And now for the big one...
