3. Shes The TARDIS
Under Moffats tenure and the writing of Neil Gaimain we finally saw what we all suspected. Not only does the Doctor love the TARDIS, but the TARDIS is definitely sentient and loves him back. The Doctors Wife is a fan-favourite episode, Suranne Jones turn as the TARDIS is magical and it was nicely enclosed. We didnt really need any more. But it makes sense the TARDIS once scattered Bad Wolf round the universe, perhaps she could scatter parts of herself and theyd manifest as a girl? The TARDIS was and is deeply protective of her Doctor, which was shown in Claras actions. Maybe the TARDIS didnt like Clara because two multi-dimensional life forms shouldnt be in the such close proximity? Maybe the TARDIS knew Clara was sent to times that would be difficult and dangerous for the Doctor and so she was reluctant to be near her. Its a little bit too close to Bad Wolf for my liking, and the Doctors Wife finished so nicely, Im glad that this wasnt actually the case. Plausibility: 4/10 (too similar to past plots) Popularity: 5/10 (the Doctors Wife is probably a favourite because the ending is so sad and final)
