Doctor Who: 7 Better Fan Theories On Clara Oswin Oswald

3. She€™s The TARDIS

clara tardis Under Moffat€™s tenure €“ and the writing of Neil Gaimain €“ we finally saw what we all suspected. Not only does the Doctor love the TARDIS, but the TARDIS is definitely sentient and loves him back. The Doctor€™s Wife is a fan-favourite episode, Suranne Jones€™ turn as the TARDIS is magical and it was nicely enclosed. We didn€™t really need any more. But it makes sense €“ the TARDIS once scattered €˜Bad Wolf€™ round the universe, perhaps she could scatter parts of herself and they€™d manifest as a girl? The TARDIS was and is deeply protective of €˜her€™ Doctor, which was shown in Clara€™s actions. Maybe the TARDIS didn€™t like Clara because two multi-dimensional life forms shouldn€™t be in the such close proximity? Maybe the TARDIS knew Clara was sent to times that would be difficult and dangerous for the Doctor and so she was reluctant to be near her. It€™s a little bit too close to Bad Wolf for my liking, and the Doctor€™s Wife finished so nicely, I€™m glad that this wasn€™t actually the case. Plausibility: 4/10 (too similar to past plots) Popularity: 5/10 (the Doctor€™s Wife is probably a favourite because the ending is so sad and final)
