Doctor Who: 7 Things We Knows About The Revolution Of The Daleks

6. Shooting Locations

The festive special was spotted at several locations whilst filming, including Cardiff Castle, council buildings doubling as an airport, Clifton suspension bridge, Cardiff university campus, and of course the streets of Cardiff itself.

The Clifton suspension bridge has been one of the biggest talking points of the new episode thanks to a few on-set photos that found their way online. If you don’t want to know anything about the episode then I suggest you skip past this part and read on later.

So, now you’ve gone I can tell you that filming on the bridge resulted in a team-up battle between the real, Skaro Daleks featuring all different types of weapons against the new modified Dalek look I mentioned earlier on. It's not known why a battle seems to be taken place between the two types of Daleks. Fans have speculated that this new modified Dalek may be a version created by humans and is not considered to be a pure Dalek resulting in a deadly fight between the two.

I can also hope that we might see some classic Daleks appear on set as it's always a joy to see them again.
