Doctor Who: 7 Times The Doctors Dressed Up In Drag

2. David Tennant On The Friday Night Project

Here's another classic TV moment involving the Tenth Doctor masquerading as a woman, because he just can't dress up in drag enough, apparently. Trying to tell us something, David? And no, he wasn't being Davina again this time (more's the pity, really, but surely she's long overdue a reappearance anyway...?!) To give credit where credit's due, though, if there's one thing you can say about David Tennant then it's that he's seemingly always up for anything. Don't believe us? Just look no further than this Doctor Who spoof which he took part in during his stint as the guest host of The Friday Night Project back in 2006. The sketch was as clever as you've come to expect from previous Doctor Who parody attempts with Justin Lee Collins taking his turn as the titular Time Lord (don't worry, it isn't canon!) and Alan Carr co-starring as his most evil adversary of all time, the Gay Lord, alongside his army of, wait for it... Carrleks. You couldn't write it, could you? Well, somebody did, and apparently that person also had a fetish for David Tennant in a mini-skirt as it featured him in the coveted role as the Doctor's "gorgeous time travelling assistant". In other words, the Tenth Doctor wearing a blonde wig and heels. Tumblr M547byrpkt1qkftzeo4 250 Gif You'd be able to experience it yourself (and trust us, it's quite the experience...) if the clip hadn't been blocked on YouTube by Channel 4 for copyright issues. It's probably for the best.
