The journey to success is a long and winding road for any jobbing actor and you've got to take any role that comes your way if you're serious about reaching the top. Bit parts can come in a variety of shapes and sizes but for the Tenth Doctor star it was the stellar performance as a pre-op transsexual called Davina in a 1993 episode of the BBC Scottish comedy Rab C. Nesbitt that would serve as his gateway to bigger and better things. And it's not hard to see why! Seriously, just check it out in the player below. It's spectacular to say the very least...
