Seriously it€™s time. Women have always been fans of Doctor Who despite the propaganda to the contrary. There are many strong female voices in science fiction and fantasy today €“ Jane Espenson immediately comes to mind - and it would be thrilling to experience a fresh perspective on the Doctor€™s life. One of the best things about Doctor Who is that the story is open to so many different interpretations. There€™s room for many points of view and becoming more inclusive will only make the program stronger and more likely to continue into the future. Adaptation and change is the key to survival both for the Doctor and the show itself.
