The lines between Doctor Who and Torchwood are already blurred with the latter starring John Barrowman as the Doctor's former companion, Captain Jack Harkness, but the two shows were set to collide like never before back in Series 3. According to WhovianNet's April Fool's prank in 2011, Eve Myles' character, Gwen Cooper, would've been revealed as a Time Lady in the climactic closing moments of Children of Earth when she discovered her true Gallifreyan essence hidden inside one of Ianto Jones' stopwatches. Readers were less than enthused about the potential plot twist, however, with one remarking: "I'm really glad that its just an April Fools." Well, damn. Nice try though, guys!
