New Scientist got tongues wagging back in 2010 when they revealed that an elite group of Time Lords had been discovered at a university in California. The report claimed that 2% of the students were actually secret human variants with the power to perceive the geography of time. The results hadn't yet concluded if they also had two hearts, though, or whether or not they were able to regenerate. Nobody likes to speculate. So Time Lords actually
