Doctor Who: 8 Best Jodie Whittaker Episodes

2. Kerblam! (2018)

Straight off the bat, Kerblam is easily Whittaker's best "filler episode" in her entire reign.

As a whole, Series 11 felt like a squandered opportunity, since the majority of the storylines fell flat, blurring together into a pool of oblivion. However, in the seventh episode, Kerblam maintained the unique chaos of Doctor Who, and felt the freshest and most distinct of Whittaker's era.

The episode kicks off with the Doctor receiving a mysterious message after opening a parcel from Kerblam, the universe's largest delivery company. And since the Doctor is the universe's saviour, she decides that the fam should pay a quick trip to Kerblam to investigate. From there, unnerving secrets come to light.

The episode's charm stems from its cartoon-like quality and the ominous Kerblam Men, which are perhaps the best original monster of Whittaker's tenure. Although some Whovians criticise the Doctor's morality at the conclusion of the story, there is no doubt that this is the strongest episode of Whittaker's debut series.
