1. Reveal That 'The Timeless Child' Origin Was A Lie

The biggest backtrack in television history. Take a lore-breaking revelation and pretend it never happened. The Master was the mouth this all came from, so there definitely is potential in Chibnall going this route. Having 'bitten off more than he can chew' is truly a light way of putting it. I am fascinated as to how there is a truly logical, and easy to digest explanation regarding all the questions this raises, but I'm not convinced there's the faintest clue in the writers' room as to where this is going to go.

The simple solution? Ignore it. Go back to gallivanting around space and time without a care in the world, but do so without this heaping great burden on your back. Every episode will be scrutinised for not exploring more of this revelation, unless it's put to bed. The easiest way to get back to the norm? Retcon, and retcon hard.
