Doctor Who: 8 Reasons It Will Be Better After Matt Smith

1. It's Doctor Who

0000-560-50th-montage-1-50f485b9 Fifty years folks! This wonderful, amazing, thrilling, spellbinding, heartbreaking, redemptive show has been on the air for fifty years! There's just something about this show, a magic that's hard to explain. Sure, it's had some down times. Some early seasons were largely ignored by viewers. It was dropped and left for dead for several years. Yet the show continues to pick itself up, dust itself off and come back stronger every time. Yes, there is a strong possibility that the show will struggle in Season 8. Heck, Season 7 didn't exactly fire on all cylinders from week to week. Even if it does struggle though the show will find its way. With strong characters, story lines, actors and management, not to mention a rabid fanbase that will hold everyone accountable, the show has all the tools to continue its run of success. We will all miss Matt Smith but the show will be just fine without him. Geronimo!
