Doctor Who: 8 Reasons To Hate Moffat More Than You Already Do

7. Overly Complicated Story Arcs

Some fans will be scratching their heads if they€™ve been trying to follow the logic of how many lives and regenerations the Doctor has actually had (he has a new set of regenerations now, courtesy of the Time Lords). Moffat€™s convoluted series plots would send even the kindly Ood into a frenzy of confusion. Some might say that the Teth Doctor era was overly simplistic with episodes like the little-mentioned Love & Monsters featuring the Abzorbaloff, which most Whovians will deny ever watching. But Russell T Davies also gave fans stories like The Parting of the Ways in season one of NuWho, while it seems all Moffat has to offer is deflating climaxes (it€™s hard to deny the River Song plot twist was just a little bit weird!). All in all, fans might keep on watching no matter how many times they€™re disappointed, but they watch for the Doctor, not because Moffat€™s messy fingerprints are all over the storylines.
