8. What Will Claras Relationship With The Doctor Be?
She was going at the end of series 8, and then returned for the Christmas special. She was supposedly going at the end of that, too, but shes back for series 9, and is set to be in it for the entire run. Clara Oswald is going nowhere yet.
So, what will her relationship with The Doctor be like this year? We dont see too much of her in the trailer - the odd running-down-a-corridor here, hiding-from-something there - but it does appear that shes with him on all of his adventures, back to being a full-time companion rather than trying to split her time between time-travelling and having a normal life as in series 8.
Jenna Coleman really took centre-stage a lot last year, which proved divisive to some fans but did great work for the character of Clara. The relationship between her and The Doctor was also strained at times, even if they did end back on good terms. What will the relationship between the pair be like this season? And, given this will see her become the longest serving companion, is she finally going to be saying goodbye to the TARDIS for good at the end of it?
