A final note, what does the trailer not show us?

We hear countless rumours around Who episodes, some backed up by filming, others pure speculation. But with so much on show in this thirty second of a feature length on show, what is being left a surprise? We have a few ideas.

This is a celebration of the BBC, and therefore Doctor Who, so they want as many eyes on this special as possible. We've already discussed two classic companions, what about anymore? Chibnall himself once noted he'd love to see the returns of Ace, Tegan, as well as Amy and Rory, so will he complete his list?

Will we see other monsters? The Sontarans are maybe a good shout, as they are up there in 'iconic-ness' after the Daleks and Cyberman, and returned last series with an incredible new look.

What else? Other Doctors? At least the Fugitive Doctor? If one other Doctor should feature, it's her, as this era created her, and it would seem wrong still knowing basically nothing after what are realistically glorified cameos.

Either way, one thing this era has proved it can do, is surprises.
