By this time we had already had the Doctor realise these words had somehow been spread throughout time and space to lure him and Rose to the Game Station. But Russell T Davies had one last twist up his sleeve.
After Rose has been sent back to 21st century London and trapped there to keep her safe, during her existential crisis over going back to normal life, Rose notices the words Bad Wolf have once again been written by someone. But just in case spray painting them on the TARDIS was too subtle, this time they’ve been written as big as possible on the floor of the local park.
And all of sudden we realise there’s something more to these words than simply drawing the Doctor and Rose to the Game Station.
