3. Bad Wolf Girl (The Day Of The Doctor)
Well it looks like Steven Moffat couldn’t let Russell T Davies have all the fun now could he?
Excitement was already at and all time high for the 50th anniversary. We were getting a brand new secret incarnation of the Doctor, David Tennant was set to return as the Tenth Doctor, and Billie Piper was also coming back, but as a yet unconfirmed role. And of course where there’s Billie Piper, there’s a Bad Wolf reference!
As it turns out, Piper wasn’t playing Rose, but a projection of the Moment, a world-ending super weapon. During her conversations with the War Doctor she even refers to herself as Bad Wolf. And then later on in the episode the War Doctor calls her “Bad Wolf Girl”, much to the surprise of the Tenth Doctor! It just goes to show that Rose really did spread those words far and wide, so far it affects characters just played by the same actress!
