Doctor Who: Matt Smith's 10 Greatest Moments

2. Closing Time - Stormageddon

Stormageddon The second instance on this list comes in the season 6 comedy relief episode, €˜Closing Time€™, in which The Doctor calls up an old friend from a previous episode, who now has a child to take care of, and wants a calm peaceful few days away from all the nonsense of his world (in actuality, he€™s saying good-bye to all of his friends as he walks to his death). However, due to the fact that it is in fact a Doctor Who episode, peacefulness and calmness are not what the Doctor ordered, as an attack from the Cybermen, an emotionless robot race, comes for the two and the baby. The great moments of this episode come from Eleven having full conversations with the baby, as he claims he can speak baby, and the entire thing seeming completely realistic. Eleven translates to the baby€™s father that he wishes to be called Stormageddon, and if I had control over my name I would wish to be called that too. This, along with multiple other nuances that are a marvel to watch show that if it isn€™t a pure example of this man€™s acting ability that he can very convincingly play off of a 1-year-old, then truthfully nothing is.
