Doctor Who Series 11: 8 Ups & 2 Downs From 'The Woman Who Fell To Earth'

6. The Music

Murray Gold has been at the musical helm of Who since the reboot in 2005, and he’s done an amazing job, but it felt a little stale toward the end of his ten series run.

Now Segun Akinola is at the wheel, and the music throughout the episode is just what Doctor Who needed. Something new. Something different to what we’ve had over the last thirteen years. Also, we didn’t get the opening titles, but we still heard the new theme on the credits. Damn, old-school.

Also the go-to for Doctor Who, and could tell you why Sans Serif fonts are better than most. Still occasionally tap dances under the desk.
