Doctor Who Series 11 Finale: 10 Things That Must Happen In 'The Battle Of Ranskoor Av Kolos'

Tizm-Sha, or Tim Shaw as he’s been affectionately nicknamed, is the other strong candidate to be ‘the voice’. All the way back in episode one, Tizm-Sha was the opening episode’s antagonist and is easily the strongest villain Whittaker’s Doctor has faced.

Strongest not only in terms of raw power, but also from a storytelling angle. Wearing the teeth of his victims impaled in his face is genuinely menacing for a show more used to smoke and mirrors. As Chibnall’s gritty debut fiercely carved itself out as the start of a new era, we see Tzim-Sha be both brutal and merciless in his killings too.

At the episode’s close, he flees to his home planet, but his deed is not yet done. If he is in fact the voice the Doctor recognised, that points to two possibilities. Either their paths cross again in a random occurance, or he tracks the TARDIS down. The first is unlikely, but not impossible in a world of infinite possibilities. The second suggests there’ll be a vengeance plot in play, which could make for gripping TV if all the elements combine.
