Doctor Who Series 2 Cast: Where Are They Now?
11. Shirley Henderson
On his quest to find the Doctor (who he previously encountered as a child), Elton meets Ursula Blake, a very nice woman played by Shirley Henderson.
The two quickly form a romantic bond, which ends with arguably the most disturbing moment in Doctor Who history as Ursula has her face melded to a paving slab for all eternity.
So... they lived happily ever after? Sort of?
Henderson is by far best-known for her role as everyone's favourite toilet ghost Moaning Myrtle in the Harry Potter movies, but that's not the only major franchise she's appeared in over the years.
In the mid-2010s she starred in the hit movies Bridget Jones's Baby and T2 Trainspotting, but best of all – and we guarantee you would never have guessed this in a million years – she voiced the adorable alien Babu Frik in 2019's Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
She returned to voice more members of this curious species in the third season of The Mandalorian, and just about stole the whole show.
No mean feat when you're sharing the screen with Baby Yoda.
