Doctor Who: Top 10 Insults Used By The Fourth Doctor

5. Shut Up, K-9!

One of the lighter and admiring things on Classic Who has to be the friendship - or loyalty, rather - as demonstrated by K-9. It was absolutely bonkers when Rose and Mickey referred to him as a tin dog and used the term €œdisco€ to describe him, because there€™s really no one who is a better companion than K-9. Except for Sarah Jane, of course. He€™s extremely clever and that can be a bit annoying when whatever you ask him is a turn of a phrase, like €œimmersed€ instead of €œbathing€ and the helplessness you face when you can€™t enunciate €œwalk€ without him getting ready to accompany you. But when it comes down to providing lasting support to the Doctor, he is not Mark III, but Mark I. Think of it as an endearing insult towards a younger sibling or simply someone who likes to tag along and you don€™t in the least mind it.
