3. Jackson Lake

Ok, so The Next Doctor was not the best episode ever, but David Morrisseys take on a Victorian Doctor was fun and fascinating. Few men have or will ever play the Doctor so it was pleasing to see one of Britains finest modern actors take on the tropes of the role, even if it was only for a short while. He had the confidence of an authentic Doctor and worked fantastically alongside Tennant as both took it in turns to be the lead Doctor. Although it turned out his character was not actually a Time Lord at all, Jackson Lakes passion when instilled with the memories of the Tenth Doctor left me wishing he was a future incarnation.
