Emmys 2018: Who Should Win Every Award (And Who Actually Will)

20. Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series

Alec Baldwin Trump SNL
NBC

Nominees: Brian Tyree Henry, Atlanta; Henry Winkler, Barry; Louie Anderson, Baskets; Alec Baldwin, Saturday Night Live; Kenan Thompson, Saturday Night Live; Tony Shalhoub, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel; Tituss Burgess, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Should Win: Brian Tyree Henry

It's often not a comedy, and he's more often the lead than support, but none of that should take anything away from Henry's performance as Paper Boi. The episode Woods encompasses everything so brilliant about his performance, with moments of humour, a slight weariness, an incredible expressiveness, it's a completely captivating showing.

Will Win: Henry Winkler

Barry's received a lot of critical acclaim, and this might be the best chance for it to get some love. It helps that Winkler is a TV legend who is back in the awards game after a long time out and, since he never won for Happy Days, is a second chance for voters to hand him a prize.
