Every Arrowverse Crossover Ranked From Worst To Best
1. Crisis On Infinite Earths
The endgame of the Arrowverse, Crisis On Infinite Earths was originally envisioned as a point in time in which The Flash would end up vanishing, changing the Arrowverse forever. From there, it grew into something else entirely until it finally became the basis for the most ambitious crossover in TV history.
The Arrowverse has done bigger and better many times in the past, but nothing that came before (or probably after) reached the magnitude of this one. Based on one of the most iconic comic book stories ever told, the five-part crossover saw Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman intersect as the heroes of each show attempted to save the multiverse from extinction. And being the heavily-anticipated spectacle that it was, there was an abundance of cameos and references to some of the most famous DC films and TV shows of all time.
In spite of its occasional flaws (and certain character absences), Crisis On Infinite Earths was a cinematic-level smackdown that will undoubtedly go down in history as one of the greatest TV events of all time - changing the face of the Arrowverse with five episodes that left viewers in awe of some of the feats they pulled off.
For a shared universe that tends to struggle with stakes, Crisis had plenty of them and it ultimately succeeded in its attempts to ensure that nothing would ever be the same. This was, by and large, a piece of art.
