Every Arrowverse Season Ranked From Worst To Best
9. Legends of Tomorrow Season 3
Legends of Tomorrow really turned things around with its second season, and all eyes were watching to see if they could pull it off again for the third. The answer was, of course, yes.
With Rip Hunter now serving a new, recurring purpose, the show split its time between the remainder of the Legends rather well, allowing every character to get some well-earned screen time as the team collided with the Time Bureau. Moreover, Kid Flash/Wally West was a welcome addition to the line-up and received more spotlight in the ensemble piece than he ever did on The Flash, creating a unique dynamic that we hadn't seen before.
In addition, the return of Damien Darhk once again worked wonders as he and Gorilla Grodd served the demonic Mallus, providing the show with a new formidable team of villains. And in case you thought you'd seen it all, the season comes to a head in a gargantuan battle between a giant winged-bat demon and a super-sized plush doll. Yeah, you gotta see it to believe it.
But it wasn't all silliness as the death of a major character played a huge role in the season's narrative and was handled with the maturity it needed to be in order to impact the remaining characters.
A great season, the third time was (also) the charm for Legends.
