Doctor Who Jamie McCrimmon

Jamie was a Highland Scotsman from the 18th century who travelled with the Second Doctor for most of this incarnation's life. He remained part of the TARDIS crew until the Time Lords exiled the Doctor to Earth when they also wiped all but one of the adventures from Jamie's mind.

He travelled with several other companions and also enjoyed solo adventures with the Doctor. He did see a ruthless streak in the Time Lord, particularly in their battle against the Daleks. He felt that the Doctor was manipulating people around him to the point that, in Jamie's eyes, it seemed as though he was working with the Daleks themselves. Though of course, this turned out not to be the case, it did lead to a short period of estrangement.

He shared adventures with Vicki and Zoe, though his adventure would see him banished to his own time by the Time Lords themselves. However, there was a shadow of his time in the TARDIS still in his mind as at the moment he arrived, he was being fired at by English Redcoats. Sword in hand, with the confidence he found travelling through time, he stormed the battle.
