Every Love, Death & Robots Episode Ranked

28. Alternate Histories

The Very Pulse of the Machine
Netflix

A short and increasingly hilarious burst of insanity in which a machine tells us what could have been in the lives (and deaths) of Hitler, Alternate Histories blends Love, Death & Robots' love for the macabre and surreal juicily.

It may be a touch too short to really sell its promising what-if premise, but the episode still delivers on the laughs where it means to, even if by the end you're only snickering because it's so leave-your-brain-at-the-door odd.

You can see this concept returning somewhere down the line, though if they do bring it back, it would serve the series well to expand on its potential.
