One part of the episode where we got to enjoy a bit of shameless Steve-centric content was the museum exhibit featuring lots of Captain America gear.

Not only did it show us what America has done in the past to honour its beloved hero (now showing perhaps a little less honour for him by so quickly replacing him with Walker), it also gave us a pretty sweet look at his props and possessions from over the years: shield, motorbike and all.

It also served to draw our attention to the handing over of his shield from Sam's hands into the museum, only to see the same shield be bought out again at the end of the episode by the new, rebranded Captain America.

The whole museum segment was packed with items from all over the MCU, from the Sokovia Accords through to various weapons used in combat throughout the films. As Sam and Rhodes walk through the place we catch glimpses of all sorts of treasures, making this scene a very smart way for the showrunners to flex their extensive prop collection.

In terms of props and tech outside of the museum, this first episode also saw the return of Redwing. Playing a vital role in Sam’s opening battle with Batroc, that terrific piece of tech is sure to continue being an important asset to The Falcon. Though it's not quite the same vibe as his real badass bird in the comics, it makes another great high-tech addition to the Falcon arsenal.
