8. Flash Isn't The Only Hero
Thankfully, amidst all these amassing supervillains, The Flash won't be on his own. Whilst it looks like Caitlin is destined to become a bad 'un, if she follows her comic book origins, fellow STAR scientist Cisco is based on a character who becomes the superhero Vibe, with the ability to manipulate sonic vibrations. When Barry said that all of them had been struck by that lightning, he was presumably speaking metaphorically - but there's every chance that it was literal, and more metahumans will crop up sooner than they think. One such other heroic metahuman will, so it seems, Caitlin's "dead" fiancée Ronnie Raymond, who sacrificed himself to fix the particle accelerator that Harrison Wells may or may not have intentionally sabotaged himself. In fact he isn't dead, just awaiting the moment he gets his mind fused with Martin Stein, a nuclear physicist, in order to become the comic book hero Firestorm, The Nuclear Man! At this rate Barry will be able to form his own Justice League to rival the big screen one...
