Friends Or Brooklyn Nine-Nine Quiz: Who Said It - Chandler Bing Or Jake Peralta?

Whether in Central Perk or the 99th Precinct, you don’t have to look far for a sarcastic comment!

Friends Chandler

Friends and Brooklyn Nine-Nine didn't just gather such large worldwide fanbases based on their binge-watchable qualities. They have unique, out-of-this-world, larger-than-life characters - and no two characters fit the mould better than Chandler Bing and Jake Peralta.

There's no question that Chandler and Jake are two of the funniest characters on television, but they aren't just cheap slapstick relief. Each character has arguably gone on to become the flagship character of their respective shows.

Both of these funny guys have a signature style of comedy. Chandler is arguably the original king of one-liners, spewing his satirical dry wit for a decade on Friends. In contrast, Jake's humour is based on his childish behaviour and immature (yet hilarious) situational comedy focusing on his natural detective talent.

Jake has managed to take the 90's sarcastic archetype Chandler created, added a smidgen of Millennial sparkle. In turn, we have two of the most likeable characters ever envisioned - really becoming a case of the new guard vs the old.

Both Chandler and Jake are responsible for some of the most memorable and quotable lines across the plethora of hit television shows in recent memory. And even though Friends and Brooklyn Nine-Nine have entirely different settings, Chandler and Jake are very much alike. So, can you tell these two kings of comedies apart from these quotes alone?

1. "Sorry, I Forgot You Were Such A Ross Head!"
